Privacy, without

Public recognition is optional

Anonymous is the default. If you opt in, your alias, contribution amount, and ceremonial title may appear automatically after payment notification. Your message only appears if you separately opt into the Wall of Shame. Use an alias that doesn’t reveal personal information. Do not put private information about yourself or others in a message.

What this site stores

The site stores payment identifiers, USD amounts, refund and dispute state, your public recognition choices, and a hashed receipt token. It does not store your email, card details, bank details, or billing address. Your chosen website alias and Wall of Shame message are stored here for moderation, separately from Ko-fi’s message. For the optional leaderboard setup only, a random reference pasted into Ko-fi’s message links the payment to these website choices. The quick-tip panel requires no reference. To opt into automatic FMA nickname publication, enter a display name ending in #FMA and choose a public tip in Ko-fi. We store and display that nickname, with the tag removed, and the contribution amount. Without both choices the quick tip stays anonymous on FMA. Ko-fi messages are never copied here. For tagged entries, contact the support email with your receipt to remove your nickname; the browser withdrawal button only covers the separate reference-based setup. Unmatched tips stay anonymous. Pending reference records expire after seven days.

The payment provider collects information required to process payments and may send receipts. Its privacy policy applies to that processing. Hosting and payment providers may retain technical logs such as IP addresses and request information. Checkout rate limiting uses a short-lived hashed IP identifier. FMA adds no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. When payments are open, the embedded Ko-fi panel loads content directly from Ko-fi; its own privacy policy and cookies apply.

Cookies

After optional leaderboard recognition is prepared, an essential, secure receipt cookie lets this browser withdraw public recognition for the latest contribution started here. It lasts up to one year and contains a random token. It is not an advertising cookie. Hosting sign-in uses separate authentication cookies for the owner dashboard.

Withdraw your public recognition

The button below hides the most recent contribution started in this browser. It also works while payment confirmation is still pending. The amount will continue to count toward the verified total. For other contributions or requests from another device, contact the owner using your payment receipt. The owner may need to verify that the contribution is yours.

Retention and contact

Public recognition remains until withdrawn or removed by moderation. Payment and event records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, and refund handling. Removal from this website does not delete processor records.
